I paid for a year's subscription with Ipvanish in October 2016 for my android box for kodi and then in January they upgraded their program service and it no longet worked on my sysyem. They told me my android box is too old and is no longer compatible for their new upgraded service. I have contacted them over and over again to try to get my money refunded and they totally ignore me. What a rip off and bunch of thieves they turned out to be

Just to let you and those who might have this device. Nvidia Shield device will NOT allow a direct vpk download. Then if you try to use the Google system, it will download, but refuses to install. Simply put Nvidia Shield (aka Sony) is already taking steps to prevent unpaid streaming. So I'm going to stop using Kodi on this device and use it on my Matricom and SKYSTREAM One boxes which the one subscription covers up to five android devices. ALTHOUGH….this is a good video….IT MUST BE MENTIONED……using a VPN service will SLOW DOWN your internet speed….So if you have as i , a modest,aka average internet speed like most people your modest internet speed will DECREASE….how much?….no one really knows…BUT IT WILL SLOW DOWN….If you have buffering issues now and then on Kodi then be PREPARED to have alot more….ALOT MORE….again, the video is great but if you are going to talk about the VPN(Virtual Private Network) then you must give the pros and the cons….only thing you talked about here is the pros.!

for some reason my ip vanish has stopped working on my android box? I have noticed that the ip address on the ip vanish which starts with an 81., is different to what it usually is, starts with a 198. and so on, can anyone help? thanks

I don't recommend IPVanish. There is discussion they keep logs. That should be the #1 concern and deciding factor in paying for a VPN. I prefer Express VPN. However Cyberghost and Private Internet Access are also ones to consider…however, the latter has had speed degradation issues recently.
